Ingredients & Care

Kindred Naturals skincare is handcrafted with care and intention. We use natural and organic ingredients without any nasty and harsh chemicals, fillers, fragrances or preservatives.

- Botanicals | Herbs | Plants -

The botanicals we use are organically grown and handpicked by us on our property, in the Bellarine Peninsula, locally and ethically wildcrafted, or sourced from Australian certified organic producers. 

- Botanical Infused Oils & Balms -

We use certified organic and cold pressed oils, infused with herbs as the base for our body/bath oils and balms. Infusing the plant slowly in oil is a gentle way to extract and preserve the medicinal properties. Australian organic beeswax is used in our balms to soothe, moisturise and soften skin while providing a protective barrier.

Apricot Kernel Oil- A gentle and nourishing carrier oil that easily absorbs into the skin and is suitable for all skin types. It is effective to help soothe dry and irritated skin while also moisturising. High in essential fatty acids oleic and linoleic acid, as well as high in vitamins A and E. 

Avocado Oil- A rich and heavy oil that is rich in vitamins A, B and D, lecithin, potassium, essential fatty acids as well as vitamin E. It is highly penetrative and excellent for dry and mature skin. 

Jojoba Oil- Full of many essential fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins. Naturally rich in Vitamins A, D and E, this gentle oil works to regenerate skin cells. It has a close chemical composition to the skin's sebum, making it suitable for all skin types especially skin that is prone to outbreaks.

Olive Oil- A gentle and moisturising oil that readily absorbs into the skin. Rich in vitamins A, D and E to soothe and renew skin. 

Beeswax- Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and high in vitamin A. Gentle on the skin, beeswax provides a protective barrier, without blocking the pores and allowing skin to breathe, while locking in moisture.

- Essential Oils -

We use pure essential oils in low, safe dilutions for the family. In our pregnancy and baby products we use gentle, lavender and mandarin oils at a very, low dilution. 

During pregnancy and breastfeeding it's advised that certain essential oils are to be avoided or used with caution. If you have any concerns or questions please contact us and check with your healthcare provider.

- Packaging and Product Care -

All our products are handmade to order with natural and organic ingredients and may vary slightly in appearance and texture. They do not contain any preservatives and have a shelf life of 8-12 months. Our skin balms and oils are packaged in recyclable, amber glass jars. Store jars out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry place below temperatures of 25 degrees celsius. The balms and oils can be stored in the fridge during hot days and to lengthen the shelf life. Use clean hands when handling products and keep lids closed and pouches sealed after use. Use within 6-12 months of opening. 

Check the label before use to ensure you have no allergies or sensitivities any of the ingredients. We recommend that you do a skin patch test before use. In the unlikely event of any skin irritation, discontinue use.
